Husk's First Summer Showcase

Welcome to our first Husk blog post!

Firstly a massive thank you to everyone who came along to view the marquees at our first summer (at some points winter) showcase weekend, it was lovely to meet you all.

Working in partnership with Nuneham Estate, a new Wedding and Events Venue located on a stunning stretch of the River Thames, just South of Oxford we created the most idyllic setting for a wedding on the Estate's event field.

We were joined by the most amazing team of local wedding suppliers (full list below), to help create the setting and offer advice throughout. To name a few;

Options Great Hire showed off their impressive range of furniture and tableware, tying in with our marquees and bringing the natural boho theme to life.

Izzi from Flower and Press worked her magic with their wonderful UK grown, sustainable flowers, creating a simple yet stunning installation on our tables and rustic lighting boards.

In the planning for our first showcase event, we wanted to incorporate start-up wedding businesses, one of them was Laura from Lucca Studios who created the bespoke handwritten menus, places cards, table numbers and signage.

Jess from Jessica Turner Designs also had a range of their stunning sustainable and ethical wedding dresses for viewing over the weekend, as well as providing one of them for our styled shoot which took place on 30th July.
